Research Project
The MNC Creative Industries Research
Project aims to :
• Define and describe the creative
industries in this region in terms of
the range of relevant activities, the
numbers of persons involved in these
activities and their locations, the
economic (and other) value of their
activities, and the major influences
on and facilitators of these activities.
• Describe the unique characteristics
of and major trends in the various components
of the creative industries in this region,
compared to other similar regions, the
State and nationally.
• Identify specific opportunities
and strategies for intervention to support
identified areas of growth.

Nambucca Valley Business Networking
Survey
Networking events allow business owners/managers
the opportunity to meet, network and
learn from one another and the many
guest speakers who attend. There is
a number of regular business networking
meetings in the Coffs Harbour and Kempsey
area, however, travelling these distances
is not always viable for Nambucca Valley
based business owners and employees.
Feedback from the local Nambucca Valley
region has helped initiate ETC, Mid-North
Coast Business Advisory Service &
Evolve Network Australia to further
investigate the possibility of partnerships
with the Nambucca Valley business community
and bring networking events to the local
area.
Business owners and workers within
the Nambucca Valley are urged to complete
the online survey
prior to 1 August 2008.
